Also, there are horse-drawn carriages rides along with the regular tour of the estate and winery. If you would like more than just a day trip, you can stay at the Biltmore Inn, Village Hotel or Cottage on the estate.
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
If you’re looking for more fun, then New York City is the place for you. You know how they say New York has everything? Well, Christmas is no exception. For starters, they have the lighting of an even bigger Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, which tourists from all around the world come to see. Then you have ice skating in Winter Village, The Dyker Heights Christmas Lights, Radio City Spectacular and many more.
Now there’s the issue of where to stay. You could stay at the Lotte New York Palace, which is located on Madison Avenue and will give you a spectacular view of the Rockefeller Center. Really, you want to stay close to Rockefeller or Central Park or Madison Square Garden, or anywhere close to festivities.

This place is known for Christmas markets that date back to the late 1200s. The Viennese Market, in front of City Hall, opens November 17 and ends December 26. Just be sure to double check with a credible source.

Then on the 15th, you have Hanukkah with the Jewish community of the island, a day for those who don’t celebrate Christmas. Then on the 16th, you have the Waimea Christmas Parade.
