Louis Vuitton has released cute mini versions of its iconic bags
The Spring/Summer 2021 shows gave us a pretty good idea. From New York to Paris, fashion brands played it safe by reworking signature bag designs. Burberry introduced a new Pocket Bag, Matthew Williams tweaked the Givenchy Antigona bag to fit his industrial-chic aesthetic, and Dior had various styles of the Dior Book Tote and Lady D-Lite for fans to add to their collection.
We’re excited to see the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2021 Collection, because it’s full of new surprises. From multi-pockets shoulder bag to chic agenda-shaped rectangle shoulder bag, Louis Vuitton will have a bag that will suit your taste.
Louis Vuitton ended Paris Fashion Week by staging a live show at the La Samaritaine, a historic Paris department store that is set to reopen next year. Nicolas Ghesquière has once again taken his inspiration from the past, present and future, while mixing femininity and masculinity. Even this season’s handbags features reinterpretations of iconic designs.
The Petite Malle is back in the runway in a new green epi design and a black leather with embellished Louis Vuitton logo. Shoulder bags in Monogram Empreinte, comes in large chain straps. Bucket bags and top handle bags with a classic touch were also presented in the runway, as well as long clutch bags with the brand’s signature padlock.
These installations from Miami’s Design District which used augmented reality to connect with the fantastical characters, finally materialize in the physical world in the form of signature monogram bag styles offset by imaginative three-dimensional character illustrations. Showcasing a variety of nano-sized handbags, Christopher backpacks, Soft Trunk pieces, a bucket hat covered in the iconic Damier check pattern, Ollie and Trainer sneaker silhouettes in hues of neon orange, yellow, and bright pink, and accessories which include black and white sunglasses, necklaces and earrings.
Set to launch on 15th January 2021, the whimsical crew of characters have long represented the brand’s fundamental belief in inclusivity and individuality, whilst promoting increased sustainability, “founded in four methods of upcycling: new looks made from recycled material, looks repeated from the Fall / Winter 2020 collection, looks freely created by the studio during the lockdown using recycled material, and new looks created from existing ideas.”
Trust Louis Vuitton to use the awesomeness of their past and turn it into something entirely new and fantastic. The men have got especially lucky this time as LV has released a new line of XS mini bags that are too cute to resist. Their classic Keepall and Steamer handbags are being reinterpreted into a lighter and easier to carry mini size for spring and summer 2021. The XS versions will see the classics get reinvented in Monogram Macassar or Distorted Damier making your days fashionable and nights snazzy with every essential carried.
The Damier motif is renewed, amplified, and reflected within the black and white checks inspired by Ska, a musical movement that originated in Jamaica in the 1950s before becoming all the rage in England. Zoooom and its friends are little animals created by Virgil Abloh and his team and cling to the fab LV creations as adorable accessories that add so much character to the high fashion accessory. The cutesy additions come in a three-dimension knitted version or as embroidered badges on the canvas.
Out of the 4 bags in the collection, three are mini Keepalls which can be carried by hand or over the shoulder using the detachable strap. Going by the reviews online a unanimous favorite has already emerged- the iconic Monogram Macassar print and 3D knitted monkey holding on to it. For Spring/Summer 2021, Louis Vuitton is taking its signature monogram print to a new level. Sporting a debossed logo print, the leather bags have also been elevated with a new chain-inspired strap, and arrive in a handful of color options. Ranging from bright green and silver metallic iterations, to minimal black versions, the bags are perfect for day-to-day.
In addition, another smaller silhouette sporting a LV-branded lock at front is also part of the collection, arriving in colors of red, beige and black. Finished off with a golden chain strap, the purse is ideal for a night out. The Spring/Summer 2021 pieces will be available online and in-store at Louis Vuitton boutiques. Take a look at the bags in the gallery above. As ever, before Louis Vuitton had even sent models down its spring/summer 2021 runway, our interest was already piqued by teaser-style clips on Instagram of covetable new accessories.
“It’s going to be beautiful, and it’s about being responsible without losing the effect I want to give – which is [presenting] a great show, but maybe in a more balanced way than we are used to,” creative director Nicolas Ghesquière proclaimed before the big moment in Paris’s revamped La Samaritaine. And he’s certainly found balance in the bags. Enter: the Quicksilver, a squashy, coated metallic exemplar with a logoed strap that gives off a youthful shine. Then there’s the latest take on a bucket bag – in shades of both candy apple green and conker brown – that plucks references from LV’s historic Cruiser model.
The Blade clutch comes in metallics with a heavy padlock detail. And the Chroma key is another metallic beauty with a heavy chain-link strap. Below, bags that are definitely worth the wait from Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2021 collection.

Erotic films are suggestive of sexuality, and usually contain nudity, though that is not a prerequisite. Unlike actual porn, mainstream movies are saddled with things like "plot" and "coherent storylines," but that doesn't mean that those plots and coherent storylines can't be served by lots (and lots and lots) of nudity... →
