The fashion trends to look forward to in 2021

It's time to look forward to 2021—and of course, the new fashion trends that come with it. On the runways there were so many gorgeous trends to choose from, but the ones below you can look forward to wearing in the warmer spring months ahead (anyone else already tired of the cold?) or start wearing now!

When viewing the spring summer 2021 collections you need to first acknowledge the context in which these looks were created—designers around the world were all working during lockdown, many away from their studios and usual resources, divided from their teams and facing huge logistical challenges.

look

There was a feeling of optimism across all cities, with clothes designed for a post lockdown world and as an antidote to all that loungewear—think OTT dresses, vibrant colours and feel-good prints. Many designers anticipate that in 2021 we will want to have more fun with our outfits and project a sunny look, whether that's via a rainbow print or wearing the most fabulous dress imaginable.

Are you ready for post-quarantine belted looks? Want to stand out in statement coats? Keep things cool in oversized denim?  Ease into 2021 in something pretty and pastel? Whether you're planning on keeping your looks casual or going all out, there's one in here that you're sure to love. The old rules no longer apply. See what you’ll be wearing for the revolution.
