It’s time to channel your inner flapper beautiful peeps as we transport you to the 1920’s with today’s gorgeous wedding inspiration shoot.
Put together by Leah of Boho and Bloom Prop Hire and captured by Photos By Lizzie, this shoot was very much inspired by the history and rich exuberant decor of Kings Hall Weddings in Herne Bay, the location of the shoot. Leah explains…
Wedding inspiration shoot
The shoot was set at The King’s Hall, a beautiful Edwardian, seaside theatre nestled along the coastline of Herne Bay, Kent. In the 1920s this was the place to be, with live music, whiskey and dancing filling the grand hall whilst the sweet sound of jazz would float away with the tide.
The shoot was inspired by the building’s enchanting features such as its decorative cast iron pillars that frame the theatre from the shoreline. The grand hall with rich, velvet curtained stage, high ceilings and Art Deco chandeliers. When you walk into the theatre, you can’t help but feel the magic and memories that whisper in its walls.
Love
Leah encapsulated the gorgeous theatrical charm of The Kings Hall by using a modern, pastel palette of romantic rose hues and free spirited styling. We are in LOVE with the flapper style bridesmaid dresses and the embellished blush pink gown by Eliza Jane Howell from Boutique of Jules.
We couldn’t think of a better way to bring in the weekend than taking you on a glamourous journey full of flappers, whisky and old fashioned romance!
Enjoy lovely people and have a great weekend.
